Now 17 years previous, Ava has been a member of the Farm Sanctuary Youth Management Council (YLC) since 2021, and he or she conjures up different college students to assist create a kinder future for all.
“Animal agriculture can’t be talked about with out mentioning our present meals system. The correlation between the 2 is so obvious, and the abuses inside animal agriculture detrimentally have an effect on every part, customers included,” says Ava. “After recognizing the abuses that not solely animals face, however employees, people dwelling near industrial farms, and customers, too, I spotted I couldn’t advocate for livestock with out giving recognition to all these concerned.”
In Could, Ava spoke on the 2024 Animal & Vegan Advocacy (AVA) Summit in Washington, DC, a world convention attended by tons of of individuals from around the globe. There, she and different younger advocates talked about empowering youth within the vegan motion.
