The Humane Society of Puerto Rico estimates that the homeless animal inhabitants on the island has surpassed one million cats and half one million canines, with a euthanasia charge estimated to be between 94 and 96 p.c. Our rescue companions in Puerto Rico are working tirelessly to keep away from inserting animals within the already overcrowded municipal shelters.
