Assist Me – I hate my lab!

I’ve a ten month previous chocolate lab. He’s a holy terror. He has destroyed my home, my yard (each one of many shrubs I planted final yr is totally gone), and just about runs my life. He’ll get on our counters and eat no matter is there…..he has eaten mobile phone covers (truly digested an iphone rubber cowl!), dvd’s, mail, dish towels and clearly any meals on the counter. After we catch him doing it, he runs away and by the point I catch him, the second is gone to scold him for getting on the counter.

Now we have eliminated something and all the pieces from the ground of each room in the home becaue if something is there (footwear, garments, trinkets) he’ll chew it to bits. The one factor I have never eliminated is bathtub mats within the loos, and he’ll take these and run round the home with them too.

I’m at my wits finish, and do not assume I can maintain him. I’m 3 months pregnant and there’s no method I can cope with him and take care of a child. I am unable to have him round a child if he will not even hearken to a command I give him.

I am unable to stand the canine, and do not perceive why everybody thinks labs are such great canines. He has achieved nothing however make my life depressing. I’ve a 5 yr previous malamute as properly and he or she is a superb canine, so I do not know what I’m doing fallacious with this one. I hate to maintain him locked in a kennel on a regular basis, however I do not know what else to do.
