At 7:45 am on July 17-2024, a Crimson-headed Woodpecker was discovered by Brian Banno at Bluffs Park on Galiano Island. The fowl flew away to the east at 8:06 am shortly after viewing.
Instructions:
In case you park on the lot HERE close to the highest of Bluffs Park after which stroll alongside the path heading North, Brian noticed the fowl about 200yards up the path, on a big lifeless Douglas Fie tree that was on the ocean aspect. It then flew east and stopped on a number of bushes earlier than it flew away to the east excessive over the bushes.

The fowl was relocated at 2pm on the identical spot and has been considered by a number of observers. It flew east at 2:45pm and hasn’t been relocated since.
