Yesterday it was at or close to 90°F for a lot of the day. No peregrines have been seen after I walked across the Cathedral of Studying at 11am however by 5:45pm the nestbox space had been within the shade for a number of hours and had cooled off sufficient to draw Ecco and Carla.
Peregrines usually are not courting presently of 12 months however when a pair stays on territory 12 months spherical they develop and preserve their pair bond by way of bowing on the nest. Yesterday they bowed for eight minutes at 5:45pm, then joined one another for 16 minutes at 6:20pm.
