Yesterday Ecco and Carla spent a number of time hanging out collectively on the Pitt peregrine nest. The snapshot digital camera’s movement detector captured their exercise.
Starting at 3:50pm the pair spent 45 minutes collectively, bowing, preening, and watching. When Ecco left, Carla continued on the perch for one more half hour, then stretched and departed at 5:00pm.
Two minutes later Ecco landed at the very same spot on the perch. As a result of feminine peregrines are bigger than males, the change from Carla to Ecco made it look as if the hen shrank.
