 The brand new State of the Birds Report 2022, https://www.stateofthebirds.org/2022/, is out and it isn’t excellent news. 3 Billion (1 in 4) birds have been misplaced from the USA and Canada since 1970. At present, birds are declining in each habitat kind besides wetlands which have had heavy funding with resultant good points. There are 70 species at a tipping level, which have misplaced 2/3 of their populations previously 50 years, equivalent to Bobolink, Prairie Warbler, Black and Brown-capped Rosy-Finches, and lots of extra.
