Right here they arrive! It is getting finchy on the market! There have been large numbers of migrating finches seen just lately at Tadoussac hen observatory (The Observatoire d’Oiseaux de Tadoussac) which sits on the mouth of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, and had 2,232 Pine Grosbeaks, 474 Widespread Redpolls, 213 Night Grosbeaks, 134 White-winged Crossbills and 43 Pine Siskins. Maintain these feeders crammed and fingers crossed you will notice a few of these stunning irruptive finches that come down to thrill us each few years.
